Film Submission Deadline for Riverside International Film Festival Nears

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Experience the World in 10 Days! The Riverside International Film Festival (RIFF) has announced a submission deadline of March 1, 2010 for those hoping to have a film shown during the event.

This year, there are multiple options for film submissions. Hopefuls can download a submission form and mailing instructions, or films can be submitted electronically through WithoutABox (https://www.withoutabox.com/login/4660). Film submissions must be in hand (not just postmarked) by this date. The entry fee for submission is $45; however, student film makers can submit their films for only $25.

The 8th annual RIFF launches April 16 and continues through April 25, 2010.The best of international and independent features, documentaries, and shorts will be shown at UltraStar Cinemas in the University Village at 1201 University Avenue, Riverside, CA, 92507. The entire University Village plaza is excited to participate in RIFF and plans are underway to highlight the “Experience the World in 10 Days” theme throughout the plaza.

“We are very excited to see the large number of films that have already been submitted,” said Nancy Douglas, RIFF Director of Programming, “but we still have space available on the roster. RIFF attendees will be treated to a variety of films equaling that of the most renowned film festivals worldwide.”

Further information, including an invitation to a special press reception in March, will be forthcoming. Details are posted as they become available at www.riversidefilmfest.org.
